Technical Sales Data Scientist

MUUTAA is looking for a talented Technical Sales Data Scientist to assist in the sales process and be responsible for managing the acquisition and data analysis for new customers in healthcare. In collaboration with the development team, the chosen candidate will also be researching new models and calibrating existing AI models for the best forecast. This position is ideal for someone who likes working with customers and yet has a deep enough knowledge of AI techniques and IT skills to finetune and deliver the best fit models.

  • Coordinate, assess & manage customer data requirements & data collection with a leading role in ensuring the data sources are obtained.
  • Research and deploy best fit algorithms for the customer.
  • Configure existing models in the MUUTAA.ML platform and integrate new models.
  • Perform data and field mapping for the data science function.
  • Define, develop and configure ETL tools and functions in the ML platform.
  • Champion secure data transfer.
  • Document versioning of the inbound data sources.
  • Provide scientific support in customer communications.
  • Research new developments in the field of predictive and time series models to continually enhance MUUTAA’s forecasting methods.
  • Interact, prepare and deliver high quality presentations to customers.
  • Work with management to design and deliver innovative solutions on time and in budget.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field with preferably some expertise in Business Administration.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • At least 5 years experience assessing and analyzing data for predictive model application or in a customer facing role.
  • Strong academic background and demonstrated industrial experience and/or, academic research projects or open-source project contributions.
  • Excellent understanding of AI-based forecasting and Bayesian techniques.
  • Expertise in supply chain or healthcare environments are preferred but not essential.
  • Expertise in ETL tools and programming (Python, SQL and others)
  • Familiar with ML techniques and frameworks
