Le candidat idéal doit avoir :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data engineering roles.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database systems, data modeling principles, and database design techniques. Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and proficiency in cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS S3, Redshift, EMR, Glue).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps and MLOps principles.
- Experience with Power BI, Alteryx or Tableau Desktop is a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data-related issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Responsabilités :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Collaborate with AI scientists and data analysts to understand data requirements, implement data models, and facilitate the integration of predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms into data pipelines.
- Implement data quality monitoring and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance performance and reduce latency.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database systems to improve query execution and resource utilization.
- Implement data security and compliance measures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to deploy and manage data infrastructure components in cloud environments.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering, and evaluate their potential impact on MUUTAA’s data architecture and analytics capabilities.
